Alexander Smirnov, the former FBI informant charged with fabricating lies about President Biden and his son Hunter, is now facing new tax-related charges. He is accused of evading taxes on more than $2 million in income earned between 2020 and 2022. The unsealed indictment highlights Smirnov’s extravagant lifestyle, including a $1.4 million Las Vegas condo, a $122,000 Bentley, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Despite these high expenditures, he allegedly reported much lower income on official documents. Smirnov is also accused of instructing his tax preparer to delete communications and not inquire about his income sources. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges related to both the Biden allegations and tax evasion.
